Our students who attend Regional Celebrate Life represent Jesus, the NEI NYI, and their local church. While there, opportunities to enjoy the university's pool and lazy river will be presented. Students are expected to dress in a modest fashion. Girls are encouraged to wear tankinis or one pieces. No cotton shirts may be worn in the water due to sensitivities to the pool's filtration system.
There is no campus nurse available during Regional Celebrate Life. Student medications are expected to handle by their local youth pastor, NYI president, to designated youth sponsor. The NEI Celebrate Life Director will have a basic medical kit on hand for minor incidents.
If your student should fall ill while at Celebrate Life, it will be the responsibility of the local youth pastor, NYI president, or designated youth sponsor to coordinate with parents/ guardians to arrange a ride home.
Olivet Nazarene University is kind to offer students the opportunity to utilize their rock wall in the student center. Students under the age of 18 MUST have a signed liability waiver signed and submitted PRIOR to the start of Celebrate Life. No forms will be accepted once the event begins. Students who are 18 CAN sign their own liability waiver but must show proof of ID. These forms are the responsibility of the local youth pastor or NYI president to bring the day of Celebrate Life and should be turned in to Joey Claus upon check-in.
